We have internet access in our apartment!! Still haven't gotten our Phoenix phone line set up yet, but we're just happy not to have to go to the Internet Cafes anymore.
In other bittersweet news, we're relieved to report that Lucy (our Basset Hound) has a new home. It seems like Baby T has some allergies, so Lucy and the Baby may not be the best combination. Needless to say, this has been pretty stressful trying to deal with from halfway around the world. So we are thrilled that her Uncle Adam was able to find her such a wonderful home. She now has two older brothers and another dog companion at home. She even went to her first little league game, and reports are that she didn't stop wagging her tail the entire time! We are really so happy and relieved, and we know she will get a lot of love and attention with her new family. For those of you who know us, you know that Lucy has been the center of our lives for the past couple of years. So we couldn't be happier!
Otherwise, things are good here in Astana. It was really sunny and beautiful out yesterday and today which was such a nice change. Still cold, but really sunny. We took some pictures of the city and the Baby House, which we'll post sometime this weekend.
So that's all from Astana.
Hope you are all well.

Hi guys - interesting news about Lucy & I am so happy that she has a compatable and loving new home - and we know how much she was a part of your lives; We enjoy keeping up with the news & it sounds like you are getting well into your routine with visiting the baby and even learning the language! So from Ventura - paca, paca, until next time.

mom & dad
You guys are right when you wrote how much stress this trip has put upon you but always seems to turn out okay. Lucy will be missed but there is nothing we wouldn't do for our children. Glad you have internet at home. It will be nice to have that continuous connection to the outside world. We close on our house Monday so when you get back, we will be neighbors.
Love,
Hara

Can't wait to see pictures of the new addition. Thanks for letting us be a part of your journey! Take care and I'll be checking up on you soon :)
