We are all packed up and ready to go. We got our car seats installed, dropped Lucy off at her temporary new home with "Uncle Adam", ate at our favorite frozen yogurt place, and got our last dinner from our favorite Mexican Restaurant.
We are bringing a ton of stuff, so hopefully the person at United is nice and doesn't charge us a fortune for all of our extra luggage.
Next time you hear from us, we'll be in Kaz!

Did you get a kind soul at check-in? We hope you had easy flights and made it to Astana with few difficulties. Does it feel terribly cold? Is it raining? Stay warm and dry. I am excited to follow along on your journey. We came home Sept. 2005 from Astana (also with CAI)and it is nice to see what is happening there...my little Kazakhstan fix. We are from Grand Rapids, MI and know Kerry and Dan who you will be meeting up with.

I can't believe you didn't have more things than what you took! You should see what my mom packs for 5 days in Florida! ha ha! I am excited to hear every detail of everything. Thanks for the bday card and surprise :) I completely understand that the baby will grow up to be a Red Sox and Patriots fan, I just don't understand why your parents forgot to put Notre Dame! We've been thinking about you all day...wondering if we have a niece or nephew! We hope you had an easy trip and it isn't too cold! We already miss you but are incredibly excited for you.
Jordyn wanted us to tell you to come home soon with the baby and that Gina adopted Marco on Sesame Street today. Micah is asleep, but we know he would have lots to say if he was awake.

There is great appreciation for your economy of packing skills..You didn't get any of those skills from me (Ellen), for sure! Maybe you two got those skills from the other 3 (Bill,Ed, and Elaine).I know that there really are clothes in those suitcases for Sara, Adam and the baby. There are even boy clothes and girl clothes for the baby. I don't know how all those things and food got in such few pieces of luggage!
BTW/The Red Sox did win.

HI! Quarter to 8 a.m. Wednesday your time, according to your clock. Excitement is growing here. Everyone at the office, at the shul, at USCJ keeps asking..... Wake us whenever as Mommy has already said.
World Series Game 1 starts around 6:30 your time Thursday morning. Probably not much coverage there, I suppose. Nevertheless, GO SOX! (Not going to get between your friends urging Notre Dame and BC). Pats for football. period. end of discussion.
Kazakhstan energy sector made the Post business section today. OK, so you don't care; your being there made it of greater interest.
Mommy is totally revved and if she knew anything about our new grandchild she would probably go shopping again right now, late as it is here.
